It has been our experience that most hiring managers (and hiring teams) don’t like the hiring process. They’ve had the bad experience of hiring ‘a no-brainer candidate’ – only to later live with the negative effects of a mis-hire (day-in and day-out). And although they acknowledge that recruiting and hiring are a part of their job description – they’re just too busy with their already pressing duties and responsibilities to spend a lot of time developing and working a disciplined hiring process.

In addition, everyone believes they have a special knack for ‘knowing good talent when they see it!’ So, why work so hard on developing a solid hiring team and hiring process?

Unfortunately, there’s no getting around the fact that hard work (and delaying other pressing duties and responsibilities) is essential to consistently obtaining high levels of hiring success.

Even more challenging is getting your entire hiring team on the same page, engaging in a disciplined approach to the hiring process.

 

THIS SURVEY IS DESIGNED TO HELP YOUR HIRING TEAM DETERMINE EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING IN CANDIDATES YOU’LL BE CONSIDERING TO JOIN YOUR TEAM. It will identify gaps and differences of opinion on what is important characteristics you’ll be looking for in your candidates.

Please have each of your hiring team fill out this Google Survey. Google will collect the results and Hyde Park Pros will produce a document that will provide you and your team with invaluable details from which to start your candidate search.
